Can I Travel To Any EU Country With My Non EU Spouse

Can I Travel To Any EU Country With My Non EU Spouse

I am a UK citizen with a non EU spouse, my spouse does not have a residence permit or visa for any EU country. Can I use the EU free movement law to travel to an EU country with my spouse? without applying for a visa? or would she need to be inside the EU to travel with me?

An non-EU citizen spouse can travel to any member state (other than the UK) using freedom of movement directive if accompanying or joining their EU spouse. A visa may be required depending on nationality. There is no requirement to be in the EU in order for it to be processed.

What nationality is your wife? Where are you both now?
