I’m applying for ILR SET(O) in the Tier 1 (General) category in January, by post, and was hoping to get some feedback from some of the kind people on this forum as to the evidence I’m submitting. My situation and evidence are:
Immigration History:
07/2007 Work Permit
09/2008 Switched to Tier 1 (General)
01/2011 Extension of Tier 1 (General)
I spent a total of 84 days out of the country since 07/2007, and have not been outside of the UK at all in the last 12 months.
Previous Earnings:
Earnings period is from 1 Jan 2012 to 31 Dec 2012 during which I received income from two sources:
1. Salary from employment (not my limited company)
Evidence supplied:
- Personal Bank Statements (all originals, except Dec statement I got the bank to print a temporary statement and a letter on bank letterhead saying the temporary statement is genuine – I could not wait for the statement to come in the mail as visa expires early Jan-13)
Signed and stamped online payslips
Letter from employer (I don’t believe this is necessary but including it anyway)
2. Dividend paid out of current year profits after tax (no salary paid at all), from my limited company where I’m sole director and shareholder
Evidence supplied:
- Personal Bank Statements
Business Bank Statements
Letter from Accountant (do you have to provide proof they are registered e.g. copy of their certificate, or is it enough that their registration number is on the letter under their qualification?)
Dividend Voucher signed and stamped by Registered Accountant
- Last company tax return to April 2012 filed with HMRC
HMRC Letter of acknowledgement of company tax return showing amount of tax due
Interim business accounts prepared by Registered Accountant showing company net profit.
- Life in the UK pass letter
Passport
2 Photographs
(No qualification, as previously supplied with Tier 1 application)
PS. For the new Question 7.12 Please state what ties you have with, I don't have any family in the UK, my parents and sister live in my birth country. Is this going to be an issue?
