On 18 January 2013 my family permit visa is expiring. i am trying to fill EEA2 if iam late will be there a problem?

do i have to submit before the expiry date..

The UK has not made applying for a residence card mandatory. Therefore, you will not be late.

under EU regulation obtaining/holding visa does not matter as along as you are living with EEA national partner and he/she is excercising its EU treaty rights student, self sufficient, self employed, worker etc.
