Tier1 Prev Earning Calc for Maternity started mid of month

Hi,

Could you please help me with my following query on Maternity Leave calculation which started mid of month

I'm gng for Tier 1 (General) Extn (PEO) in 2 weeks time. I had taken Maternity Leave from 19th Sep 2011 till 31st May 2012.

I received payslip for Sep 2011, which has pay for 1st 18 days of work and SMP payment from 19th Sep 2011 till 30th Sep 2011.

For previous Earnings, I'm planning to submit payslips from Apr 2011 till Aug 2011 (5 Months) and June 2012 till Dec 2012 (7 months) i.e. totally 12 months excluding Maternity period months

As UKBA policy guidance states that.......
'we will consider a period of 12 months taken from the 15 months immediately before the absence began'.

i'm confused on, should i exclude the complete Sep 2011 payslip from showing as Previous Earnings ( but Maternity leave started from 19th Sep only)

How should we consider the previous earning calculation if Maternity leave started mid of the month, Please advise
