I have not recievd biomatrics after 2 months what shall I do

Dear all please guide me.

I have submitted my Tier 1 General extension application by post on 31st October 2012 which was received by UKBA on 1 November 2012. fee was deducted on 3rd November and I received official receipt letter dated 5th November. my visa expiry date was 2 Dec 2012 and I did not apply for any other dependent visa with my application (only mine)

It is 3 Jan 2013 and I have not yet received any letter regarding biometrics. I heard from some of my friends who submitted their application in early October got letter in one month.

I am getting a bit worried please advise me how long shall I wait and what shall I do now. I am awaiting kind guidance from all of you.
