TIER 2 VISA EXTENSION QUERY

Hi ,
I came to UK on 06th august 2008 on work permit and my VISA was valid until December 2009. I applied for extension and I got ICT VISA for 3 years which was valid until 30 dec 2012. I have applied for extension . What would be duration of my VISA this time ? Will it be given just short of 5 years mark or will I get for 2 more years ? Any idea please ?

3 years or the work end date stated in the CoS, whichever is earlier.
See the T2 policy guidance, para 186
