could someone plz tell me that how important is Police registration certificate for 10 year long residency application.

Well, it's important enough to request this on the application form under the list of documents. Are you saying you have lost this or that you did not register with the police?

thanks for reply Lucapooka. Actually i don't have any Police registeration because i never register with police .What should i do ,will this effect ?

But were you required to register? It seems reasonable that someone would have noticed this and mentioned its absence from the various leave to remain applications you must have made to achieve 10 years of residence.

I'm just concerned why it has not been an issue in your previous applications? And if it hasn't then why should it be in your next application?

what is your nationality? Does your residence permit state that you are required to register?

I been student for more thn 8 years and they never ask me to provide registration certificate whenever i have applied for extension. But now i have to apply for 10 year long residency thatswhy i am worried.

No they did not mention anything like this. And i have Indian nationality.
