A letter from your partner’s employer certifying that

Post by HASWA » Sat Jan 05, 2013 2:50 am

I am filling out the SET(M) form for my wife, and was wondering if this was a mistake in the application, as it doesnt appear to make much sense

In the section "Knowledge of language and life in the UK"

it asks to tick the box

"A letter from your partner’s employer certifying that you have sufficient knowledge of the English language and Life in the UK if you answered yes to question 5.2; or"

Is this really meant to be 5.3 ? and if not, how would my employer be able to verify whether my wife speaks english well, as she has never had any contact with them ?

She has passed the "Life in the UK" test, I thought that would be sufficient.

I think you read something while asleep, or you are seeing things due to some mental issues. Nowhere on the form it mentions what you are saying.
