Urgent Tier 1 Ext For less than 12 months in UK?

Post by ajay.jethani » Sat Jan 05, 2013 6:20 pm

Could you please advise it is fine to apply for Tier 1 Extension in within 12 months in UK?

My Intial Tier 1 Grant was valid from 1st March 2011 to 1st March 2013

I came first time in UK 26th March 2011 - 24th April 2011 but through my employer

Second time i came to search jobs for two weeks 22 Jan 2012 - 3rd Fen 2012. Finally i got job in UK starting 5th March.. i went back to india and came back to UK on 4th March 2012 to Start job from 5th March 2012.

My Earnings from 5th March 2012 - 31st Dec 2012 > £40K so i can claim points for that. But basic question is that is it compulsory to be in UK for 12 months??

I have PEO Appointment in next two weeks. Please advise urgently.

Apologies all members if i am bothering..

Thank for your advise

Best Regards

Not a problem as long as you satisfy requirements for an extension, But if you are looking for ILR you may have to apply for another extension for the shortfall of the days.

Did you earn 40k between 5th march 12 - 31 march 12 ?

so it didnt matter if i am here in UK continous 10months?
1.) Also maintenance funds should be £900 + £1800 (site says if dependant less than 1yr in uk than £1800) = £2700 (it didnt say about main applicant less than 1yr in UK for extension of stay in UK)

2) or is it £2800 + £1800 = £4600

Anways i have maintained the enough funds to satisfy both conditions of above.

Hope it should be fine

10 months or 2 months it really doesn't matter as long as you can satisfy the criteria. But as kpk1234 mentioned it would be difficult(most probably impossible) to obtain ILR without having another extension.
