indian passport

Hello,
I want to know about indian passport.I have to apply UK TIER2 visa and have valid passport up to 09/14 but Tier 2 visa is 3 yrs in duration and I can not renew my indian passport before 1 year.Please suggest me what should I do?

You will probably have to apply for the Tier 2 visa now and then transfer the visa on your new passport after you apply and get it in 2014.

Visa on old passport remains still valid . In any case , a person has to carry all passports including old and new one.Hope this helps.

Incorrect you do not need to transfer visa vignette to new passport, in fact from the UK you cannot transfer the Visa Vignette.

If you insist on updating your travel document details with Home Office because you do not want to travel with two passports then you will have to apply for a BRP (which in my feeling is a bigger liability).
