Form AN (naturalisation as a British Citizen)

Post by bbkaran » Sat Jan 05, 2013 11:35 pm

Hi,
My wife and I are applying for naturalisation as British Citizens using "Form AN". We would like to include our daughter as well. Should we use the Form AN again? Or there is a separate form for minor children? The fee document provides the fee for husband and wife applying together using Form AN, but fee for children indicates a different form. This is bit confusing. Please help.

We want to go from ILR to naturalisation at the same time.

thanks

bbkaran

The fee documents shows a different form for children because for children there is different form.

is there anyway we can rank the answers to reflect their usefulness? I actually want the above reply hidden, as this does not serve any purpose.

The question is what is the form for children while parents apply for naturalisation?

Thanks

Yes, there should be a way to rank the answers according to their usefulness. But many people won't even know what is useful and what is not. If they knew what was useful, then many of them won't be asking such questions in the first place.

Anyways,

For your child you will need this form.

Form AN says on the first page
Family applications should include separate forms for each child, either an AN Form where the child is now an adult (aged 18 or over) or an MN1 Form for a minor (under the age of 18)
.

Thanks to both asim and jambo. very helpful. Naturalisation for adults and registration for kids! I just checked the Form AN. It is true it mentions MN1 for kids. I completely missed it.
