Does anyone have an idea of what to when an application exceeds the specified date.

Write a letter of complaint and ask for an explanation. The details as to how to complain will be on the form you used.

Did it pass the 6 months ? If it did than u are going to get compensated u can apply for reward and sue the home office and get some lovely check from the home office I did the first time with Peter of apoligy not to go to the press how nice is the home office
