out of country visa renewal for tier 2 ICT dependant

Is it possible to do out of country visa renewal for dependants ? I understand it is not possible for the main applicant to renew from home country, but how about the tier 2 ICT dependants ?

Does anyone know whether it is possible for renewal from home country or do they have to travel to UK for renewal ?
