Thanks for the response. Yes, I was in UK when I got the WP stamped, that should make it 4 years and 11 months. However, I asked my HR about the question and they have contacted company solicitors who read it differently. They seem to think that "how long have you lived in the UK" refers to total length of stay in UK, including my student period, as there is no special mention on qualifying period. I am still in dilemma, did you have a similar situation? , as in student before work?dansid wrote:Hi

For ties you can enter your country of birth and write Family and Friend ties. Also if u have spend more than 5 year in any other country do mention that as well
