Sponsor licence number digits?

Post by pucalee » Mon Jan 07, 2013 8:22 pm

It could me a trivial thing but confuses me.
I'm currently filling up my Tier 2 application form.
I have the sponsor licence number from HR manager which has 9 digits.
There are 8 blanks in the application form.
Is this just a simple usual mistake by UKBA (like 7 blanks somewhere and 6 blanks somewhere else for post code) or am I looking at a wrong number?

ah yes i encountered this too. the actual sponsor number has one digit longer than the available boxes. i just wrote the last number just outside the box. should be fine.

Doing online Application

Post by vinay1986 » Wed Jan 09, 2013 2:24 pm

Hi guys, I am really confused with one bit with the online application. I just got my COS and tried using online application. It is asking this:

Are you applying under the Post Study Work provisions within Tier 2? *

(open help: gives this: Are you applying under the Post Study Work provisions within Tier 2? *)

I have never been into the PSW, I finished my Masters last year and applying for a switch from Tier 4 student to Tier 2 (general). What shall I do?

You just select No in i as you had never been on PSW but you have to show a proof of Labor market test.

I mean if you are switching from tier 4 you are exempt of labour market test, however you don't have to be employed by your company for 6 months?
