will joint income (Husband & wife) be acceptable for ILR

Post by ayan37 » Mon Jan 07, 2013 11:42 pm

Hi

I am a British citizen, My family (wife and 3 kids) came in the UK in June 2012 on settlement 2 year visa. They will be applied ILR in May 2014.
My income as an employee is around £1700 per month after tax and other deductions.

At the time of entry clearance I was working as a self employee as well for extra income but later on when they get visa, I stopped working as a self employee because I should have given time to my family. So my question is that at the time of ILR next year 2014.

Should I need to show more income before apply to ILR?
If my wife has started work then can we show joint income to prove that we have enough income each month?

Thanks and regard.
