In how many days,does a child first passport take to process and issue? I sent application as special delivery,not by check and send, does it take longer...

Its shouldnt take more than 3 weeks provided all the details regarding the counter signatory are correct. It took 3 weeks in my case as my countersignatory as there was some confusion on the name.

i rang the IPS today, the person i spoke to, told me in 4 weeks but she couldnot check my son application progress as i dont have the barcode number of the application. did you receive the passport and your documents that you sent together?
