Maintenance Fund

Post by xrootx » Tue Jan 08, 2013 10:37 am

Hi,
According to UKBA I suppose to have £900 in my account all the time for last 90 days. I get my bank statement on 6-7th of every month. So if I go for my visa extension say on 16th of Jan then I can only show last 90 days from oct,nov and dec as I wont have my Jan bank statement. Would it be ok or £900 balance should be exactly from last 90 days.
Thanks

Hi,

i) Personal bank or building society statements covering a consecutive 90 day period: The most recent statement must be dated no more than 31 days before the date of application. The personal bank or building society
statements should clearly show:
• the applicant’s name;
• the account number;
• the date of the statement;
• the financial institution’s name and logo;
• any transactions during the 90 day period;
• that there are enough funds present in the account (the balance must always be at least £900) covering the 90 day period before the date of application

The part highlighted in bold answers your question.

Kind Regards
