Visitor Visa from my parents !

Post by charumlk83 » Tue Jan 08, 2013 12:38 pm

Guys .. one more query from my side ... i know am bombarding you all will lots of queries now and then ...

My parents are planning to visit us in feb/march 2013. I am a housewife and my husband is working.

My query is;

My husband recently changed the job, he left his past organization on 16th Nov and took 1 month break and joined the new organization on 17th dec. The problem is that he has got the salary slip of November but as he joined the new organization late he didnt get the salary slip for the month of December.

Now as we are sponsoring my parents visa and the VFS/British embassy ask for 6 months salary slip and bank statement.

Please suggest what should we do in this case as we dont have december salary slip.

I am on ILR and my husband is a British citizen ( he has got the naturalization certificate).

I will really appreciate any advice on this topic.

Regards
Charu malik

I am not expert but have applied for parents visit visa recently.

I do not think i month break is big concern if you can send proof of changing jobs and that you have good funds to support.

if possible send p45 of old job and joining letter of new job.

Sorry not much help :(

charumlk83,

I don't think this will affect your application negatively. I would suggest you enclose a personal letter with your payslips explaining your situation.

A letter from his current employer stating that he works in that company in XX role would also help, although this is not mandatory.

The idea is to make sure you can support your parents during their stay here both financially and in terms of accommodation.

I am assuming you have savings bank account statements to support your sponsorship. Good luck.

You don't need to provide salary slips; that is only a suggestion. Otherwise people could only visit family in the UK who were in PAYE employment, and that would be absurd. Six months of bank statements to show that you can easily afford to sponsor them is all that matters.

You may be getting confused with the suggestion that the applicant provides salary slips, as this would show their economic ties to their homeland.
