Application Raised date = apllication post date?

Post by jamiluddin » Wed Jan 09, 2013 3:47 pm

HI,
I want to know what is the ''application raised date'' in Subject access request file, is it the date when UKBA records the post date of an visa application or the receive date of the application. On one occcasion i sent an student visa application to UKBA on 30th September 2005(Friday) ,on the SAR it is recorded as 3rd October 2005(Monday) as appplication raised date. Could anybody confirm this please .

The application raised date is the date the application is recorded as raised by ukba which may or not be the date of receipt. However this date is not really relevant. The date of application, if sent by post is the date of posting regardless of when the ukba raise the application on their system.
