ILR Application Date

Post by neo.kap » Wed Jan 09, 2013 8:37 pm

Hi

EC date: 17/03/2008
Entry date in UK: 19/03/2008
Current visa expiry date: 25/04/2014

Booked PEO appointment: 20/02/2013 for ILR application?

Is that ok or I am early?

Provided an applicant still has extant leave in the 28 day period before the end of their qualifying period, they can make an application for settlement.
In your case, you would not be able to apply before 19/02/13,however,confirmation from seniors is required.

neo.kap, what immigration category will you be applying under and did you switch immigration categories (E.g. WP to T1G, T2G to T1G etc.. ) during your 5 year residence?

You will be eligible to apply from upto 28 days before the 5th anniversary from your date of first entry. So on or after: http://www.timeanddate.com/date/dateadd ... &ad=28&aw=
