Redundant work permit holder

Hi Guys.

I am on work permit and have been made redundant on 23rd Nov ,2012 . am living here in UK from July 2008 which is 4 years and 5 months. my visa valid till June 2013(6 months to go for ILR)

Recently , have attended an interview in a new company who can sponsor for tier 2 visa , might be chance will get job by end of this month. am worried what if i don't get job by end of this month what if they push to Feb.

* So how long i have time get a new job . (Read somewhere about 60 days )

* Do i need to leave the country if i don't find a new job within 60 days

*Is it possible to apply for ILR now or any other extension to live in the country.


Please help me and let me know what is my next step.
