what are the chances of an ECM overturning?

hey guys.. im sorry if my posts are all over the place. im new to this forum. i just have a quick question. what is the chance of an ECM overturning a visa decision with new evidence. if you had a good reason and can show proof on why it wasn't in the orignal application. will they still take you to court and waste so much time and money. ive been apart from my husband now 14 months and its killing us :(
