Travel on Indian Passport after getting British Cityzenship

Hi

I have got British citizenship on 19/12/2012 (day of ceremony). I have to go to US for a short meeting from 17/01/2013 to 22/01/2013. I have got US VISA on my passport. Could you please let me know whether it is legal. I had no other option as British passport process takes upto 6 weeks.

yes, you can use indian passport for travel up to 3 months from naturalisation.

Have a look at the point 3 on this website. However, it is from the consulate General of India Hong Kong.
