ILR - from Tier 1 (75 points)

Post by ineedhelp » Thu Jan 10, 2013 3:14 pm

Hello,

I was on a Workpermit for from Feb 2008 to Jun 2011 and on Tier 1 (General) since then. When I qualified for my Tier1 I was under 30 and hence scored more than 85 points. (post 2010 system)

Now I have completed 5 years altogether and I am about to apply for ILR. When I calculate my points I get only 75 because I am 30 years and 1 month old now. Hence I am 5 points shy of the required 80 points. Would this mean that my ILR will be rejected?

Please help me.

Thanks
Suresh

Read the explanation under the following sticky, to understand how many points you will score for your age now; what you have stated is incorrect: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=90855

Thanks Guru,

It was my oversight.

I was very stressed for the last couple of hours. Your reply confirmed that I don't need to worry.
