ILR confused about qualifying 5yr period

Post by clem01 » Fri Jan 11, 2013 11:12 pm

Hi, can someone please clarify me. I applied for tier 1 general from within the uk. Before applying for tier 1 general i was on the IGS visa. My tier 1 general application was granted through an appeal in court. The appeal for my tier 1 general visa was granted in May 2009 but my visa stamp was from October 2009. I want to find out if the 5yr qualifying period for ILR will be counted from May 2009 when the appeal was granted or from October 2009 when my visa was stamped.

Thanks in advance.
