What if you made a mistake in Tier 1 application form ?

Post by Techlearner6 » Sat Jan 12, 2013 9:50 am

Hi,
I have a feeling that i made a mistake in Tier 1(extension) payment section.
I sent my application on 17 Dec 2012 and they haven't deducted the fee from my account yet (till today, 12th Jan 2013).

My question is that what happens if you make a mistake in application form ?
Do they reject the application ?do they allow the person re-apply?

Could you share any UKBA working number please ?

The number is 08706067766. If you made a error in the payment details you entered on the form and they attempt to take the payment & cannot, then the application will be deemed invalid and returned.

Yes. But if it's not been long since you submitted your application, I would try to contact the UKBA to ask whether you can correct the error before they attempt to take payment. This way you would avoid having to wait for the return of documents and re-apply (this may be key if your current leave to remain expires soon to avoid the resubmission being categorised as a out-of-time application)

My application has been returned to me because of mistake in payment section.
Now i have to reapply.

My visa is already expired but i am with in 28 days limit and can re-apply.

There is a question D18 in application from.
"Has the applicant ever stayed in the United Kingdon beyond the end of his/her period of leave ?"

As my visa already expired, what should I write in this section ?
Should i say No ?

Thank you.
