Inviting a relative for my Wedding

Post by kammy88 » Sun Jan 13, 2013 10:16 pm

Hello

I was wandering if someone could kindly advise me on how to sponsoring my uncle's visa application (coming from Pakistan) so he can attend my wedding.

How do i apply for a sponsorship under the following circumstances ?

Do i need to show my wage slips, letter from my dad for permission to live with us ?

I currently live with my parents but i do own my home but its on rent and all my documentation is registered on my parents home.

I work full time

I currently have a saving of £3,000

My uncle has been to thailand and malaysia (8 months ago) and has no intention of staying in the UK. He would like to vist us for about 5 months and return before the visa runs out. He is in his late 50's.

He previously came to the UK in 2001/2002 and return within the time period.

Thank you for help me really appericate your advice and guidance.

are you paying for your uncle's trip? or is he self financing it?

if you are sponsoring in financial terms, then you need to provide supporting evidence in the form of bank statements, payslips etc.
also a letter from your parents confirming the accommodation.

in addition you uncle needs to provide evidence (property / employment / bank balance etc) to prove his ties with the home country.

I will be sponsoring in terms of financial terms but ideally i would like to keep my wage private on the payslips from my uncle. I don't mind about the bank statements.

Is their anyway of keeping the wage private on the payslip evidence ?

Do i need to get my sponsorship letter, payslips, bank statement and a accommodation letter couter signed by a lawyer ?

Do my parents need to get a accommodation letter signed by a estate agent ?

Thank you for replying
