Holding both a UK and European Working Visa?

Hi all,

I'm a NZ passport holder coming to end of my tier 5 uk visa. I'm looking to apply for a tier 2 visa so I can remain in the UK.
I'm also considering applying for a Dutch working holiday visa as well - does anyone know if it is possible to hold valid work permits for different countries at the same time?

If you are on T5 YMS you must leave the UK on expiry of your visa, you cannot switch to T2 in-country.

Hi Manci,

I'm aware of the need to leave the UK in order to apply for my tier 2. The question I'm looking for an answer is whether holding a valid working visa for another country (e.g. The Netherlands, Singapore etc) would somehow prevent me from gaining a tier 2 UK visa?

Your entitlement to work in NZ or in any other country has nothing to do with UK immigration or the PBS.

A sponsor must of course assign a restricted CoS to you before you can apply for T2 entry clearance
