Deception

Post by shahidabegum417 » Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:02 am

Hi guys, I wanted to know if an application is turned down for deception does it get a right of appeal. It is for ILR, application within the UK. It is for an elderly dependent visa. Application submitted in July. My silly friend has lied on an application to keep his father here. No reply yet from UKBA but obviously they will uncover the truth.

Regards

An in-time application should have a right of appeal if the leave expires while waiting for a decision. But why would you appeal something that has already been conceded as a correct decision? If your friend has lied, and has conceded to this fact, and the UKBA refuse because of this, what good does he think an appeal with do?

I have applied for my parents in July and still waiting. Bio-metric letter received and done.

It is time to wait. I did made mistake on the application due to lack of checking and deadline to meet. I have sent a letter through a solicitor explaining the error after two months. If you think your friend deceived the information it is better to get it correct before they make a decision. You can not win an appeal if it is refunded because of deception.
It is my understanding.

Yes I do not think he will win an appeal. He lied on the application and said that his mum was deceased so he could keep his dad here. What an abuse of the immigration system. It makes me sick. Anyway I hope they uncover the truth. Good luck with your parents though!
