Reference letter from employer

Post by xrootx » Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:22 pm

Hi,
I was wondering should I take reference letter with me or not. The letter states my annual salary and job position. I am already showing my payslips and bank statement to shown previous earning. I know this letter is not required just need your suggestions.
Thanks

well, you know the letter is not required.
If you have it, take it with you. Will do no harm but will not add extra value either.

From what you are saying, the letter you have is useless. The requirement for an employer letter is to break down your salary into payments which can be corroborated against your bank account. Annual salary alone doesn't mean anything and can't be validated against anything. Don't waste your caseworker's time.
Do not send me PM's with specific questions - post question in the open forum so others can also benefit from the answers.
