Start Date on online application later than Restricted CoS

Hi everyone

If my employer has entered an earlier start date on the Restricted CoS, and, given that I'm not entirely sure when I will receive my Tier 2 General visa, I entered a later date

I used the search function to find any old content, and it states that my employer has to agree to it

Does this mean the UKBA will contact my employer about my start date (and therefore I should notify them)?

I only placed a later start date to give it more processing time.

I placed the 18th Feb, but can arrive earlier

Any help much appreciated

Start will be the date on wich your employer goinh to issue you the COS. and end date will be the date fater 3 years
Example 21 JAN 2013 to 20 Jan 2016

The thing is, my employer has probably placed an earlier start date for the restricted Cos, for e.g. 20 January

On my application I placed the 18 February and sent off my application already

Will this be ok? Or should I notify my employer?
