Query about British Citizenship for dependent

Me and my Wife (both on ILR) will be applying for british citizenship in May 2013. My wife has been here in UK since August 2008 but she also lived outside country for more than one year between 2010 and 2011.

Will she still be eligible to apply for british citizenship?

I know about the 3 years rule but not sure if 3 years with gap is going to be a problem.

I don't think she meets the residential requirements. she cannot be out of the country for more than 270 days during the period of last 3 years and 90 days during last year.

No she doesn't qualify yet.

She might be able to apply in August 2013 after completing 5 years of residence if she meets the other residential requirements as well.
