Tier 2 (General) occupation shortage list

Post by mdoherty » Thu Jan 17, 2013 5:55 pm

Hi everyone,

Sorry in advance if this question has been asked already.

What is the likelihood of me being denied a Tier 2 (General) visa if my current occupation does not fall in the "occupation shortage list" (even if my annual income would be 20K pounds or more)? Anyone else been denied due to this reason? Any advice you can give me would be very helpful!

Thanks.

The job not being on the shortage occupation list is not a reason for refusing an application which otherwise meets the requirements.

You need a CoS before applying
