PEO Solihull and weather delays

Hi,

I have an appointment this Tuesday to extend my Tier 1 General Visa at the PEO at Solihull. First off, does anyone have any recent experiences there (I have seen a few in the sticky page), any tips or suggestions?

But more importantly, what happens if I am unable to make the appointment or am delayed due to weather? What is UKBA's policy towards such cases?
