How to expedite my tire 1 general visa extension process ?

Post by Vedeka » Fri Jan 18, 2013 1:38 pm

Dear all,

My Tire 1 general visa expired on 1st Jan 2013. I have applied for extension on 12th Dec 2012. Is there any way I can expedite "(fasten the process) my visa process.

Please help me by sharing your experiences and advice.

Many Thanks
Vedeka

unless you have a rock solid reason they wont bother to speed up your case.

as there are many who are waiting for 4 months.

you have to wait atleast 12 to 16 weeks.

Thanks Askhan!

I think I have a solid reason. I got a new job offer but they need to check my passport and visa then only I can join with them.

Can I tell the same reason?

yes, it is.

send them your offer letter through fax and if possible, ask your new employer to write a small letter stating that offer will be accepted upon looking of valid visa.

I have seen a similar case on this forum before as well

Askhan,

Thanks a lot for your valuable time. I will try to get the letter from new employer and send the same to UKBA as you said. Let's see my luck. :-)

Many thanks
