Police registration for Tier 1 General

Hi Guys,

My ILR is due in Jan 2014 and i was going through some of these threads here and i saw someone mentioned about police registration certificate.

I went to the police station to get my self registered and they asked me to download a form from UKBA and i need to add all the addresses i have live on.

I went thru the UKBA website and found some info on the following url

I am Indian national and the list doesnt show Indians are required to register with Police, also when i went thru Exemptions from police registration i found some VISA categories but Tier 1 is not there.

Would appreciate if someone can shed some light and share their knowledge in this regards.

why do you need to register? If you were needed to register it would have been mentioned/stamped on your passport/visa vignette.
