Dependent Visa Switchers

My husband has a Tier 1 HSMP General Visa. He lost his job couple of months ago. I am his dependent. I am currently employed and my company offers Tier 2 Work permit. Can I switch to that category from dependent to main visa holder of Tier 2. Also can a Tier 1 HSMP dependent apply for Tier 1 HSMP General in Isle of Man? Will this be referred as Switching or a new application?

Instead of multiple posts why don't you consolidate all your queries and put them in a single thread? That will help others to understand your overall situation better and provide advice/information accordingly.

Tier1 General has been closed for a while now so no more fresh applications for T1 G, only extensions allowed unfortunately

Closed for UK applicants or Isle of Man immigration applications as well?
