Switching from Tier 2 ICT short term staff to Tier 2 general

Hi ,

I am currently in UK on Tier 2 ICT short term & my Visa is valid till may 2013.

Can I switch this to Tier 2 general if have another recruiter who can provide me sponsorship?

Do I need to spend min 12 months outside UK before applying for fresh tier 2 general visa??

Can any some one help me with this??

you cannot switch from T2 ICT Short Term Staff to T2G.
(switching means changing immigration category in-country)

You have to leave the UK before your visa expires.

After you returned to your home country you have to wait for the 12 month cooling-off period to end before you can apply for T2G entry clearance.
