Spouse visa bank statement question

Post by imranbinkhan » Sat Jan 19, 2013 8:07 pm

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum.

I'm apply for my wife's visa soon. I have been in employment since mid July 2012 on a contractual basis. My annual income is sufficient but i have a question about bank statements, if someone could please help me.

1. I have bank statements covering the period since starting employment. However some of my monthly statements show that there has been more expenditure and income in that month. The balance for every month has still always been in a positive balance of around £3-4k. Would this be a problem??

2. I have another bank account with another bank. I used it as a student account uptil mid-2012 when i graduated. In that account i was in my student overdraft for the months upto october 2012. From my primary account (above) i transferred money every month into this account (partly why my above account's outgoings were slightly less than incoming) and paid off all over the draft. It has now been in a positive balance of over £1k for the past 3 months. I am using this account as a savings account. Should i also submit the statements for this second account even though it was in overdraft around £1k for the July-August 2012??

Thanks

Imran
