tier 1 extension - urgent need help

Post by elfray » Sun Jan 20, 2013 9:51 pm

Hi there,

I am applying for my tier 1 general extension and unfortunately last year i got a driving offence with 6 penalty points. Should I mention this on my application form? Is this not a civil penalty?

Would really appreciate your help.

Kind regards,
Ray

if its been issued by court then yes you have to mention.

if its a on spot given by police then it will count as FPN. no need to mention.

Moderators and Guru, please correct me if i m wrong.
Kind Regard,
A.Khan

elfray, i do not think that an extension application will be affected due to driving offences. I think they are only applicable for Settlement and nationality applications. I could be wrong though.
