Hi,
I am on Tier-1 visa, got extension last week. I am here for last 9 years I am planning to invite my mother for visit for few weeks. My mother is a house wife and she cant show bank statement with loads of balance in it. Last time she applied in 2008 and she got refusal. The reason was that the Home office wast satisfied with the financial condition of my mother, even though I was sponsoring her. I sent my bank statements, pay slips , employee latter and house inspection letter. My mother owns a house in Pakistan and we attached that with an application.
Could you please let me know what else I need to do this time ?

If you provided evidence of your financial situation, the refusal would not have been because she had no money; it was because she has no social and economc ties. She needs to show that she has a life that she will return to rather than abandon to remain in the UK.

I am applying again next month, do I need to attach her bank statement and there is hardly any balance? Also could you please let me know what else do I need to show for social ties. My father isnt applying he is there back home and also my brother and sister.

If your father and siblings are remaining behind, then include that and proof of this in your application.

Think about ANYTHING that proves that your mother will go back after her visit. Showing that she has no money and a son in the UK is a completely different to story to showing that she owns a house and most of her family remains in Pakistan while she is on a short holiday in the UK.
