Police Clearance Certificate Challenge

Hi All,

I had sent my Passport and ILR Biometric card to Indian Embassy in Nov 2012 end to get Police Clearance certificate. My wife wants to be a Childminder and i need to get police clearance done for the same. I had sent the postal order of 22 pounds in first week of Dec as it was mistakenly stated as 17 pounds on the site.

Now, the site states it should not take them more than 45 days to send the Passport/ILR and police clearance certificate back.

I had sent secure delivery envelope for returning these documents. I have not heard anything. I have send 2-3 emails in this week for follow up. I am little worried that my Passport and ILR card may have been list.

Please advise.
