ADVICE NEEDED

Post by yoyin » Mon Jan 21, 2013 4:55 pm

HI EVERYONE,
THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT I RECEIVED FROM THIS FORUM. I GOT MY PR IN DEC2012 (EEA4), AFTER DIVORCING MY EEA HUSBAND. MY DIVORCE WAS FINALISED SEPT. 2011 AND MY EEA4 APPLICATION WHICH WAS SUCCESSFUL WAS MADE IN AUG 2012.
I AM IN A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEONE FROM ABROAD AND I WANT HIM TO JOIN ME IN UK; MY QUESTIONS ARE
1. CAN I BRING HIM OVER AS A PARTNER ON SPOUSE VISA WITH MY PERMANENT RESIDENT CARD

2. DO I HAVE TO GET MY BRITISH CITIZEN BEFORE I CAN BRING HIM OVER

3. WHAT REQUIREMENT DO I HAVE TO MEET IF I NEED TO BRING HIM OVER ON SPOUSE VISA
I REALLY NEED TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE BUT SOMEONE TOLD ME I NEED TO GET MY BRITISH CITIZEN BEFORE I CAN START A NEW RELATIONSHIP.
WILL BE GRATEFUL IF I CAN GET USEFUL RESPONSE ON THIS QUESTIONS
THANKS IN ANTICIPATION
YOYIN

You should be alright to sponsor him, provided of course you earn 18,600.

There is no need for you to have British Citizenship, for you to be able to do.
