Tier 1 General - In country Dependents Applying seperately by post

Do we need to submit original passport and visa of main applicant with the dependent's application?

Please point me to the offcial document on UKBA website that explains about this query.

You just need to enclose a copy of the main applicant's passport and visa attested by himself/herself.
