Hi All,
I applied for naturalisation last week but filled up September 2010 form (call it stupidity or whatever, I had a form stored on my PC for long which I just printed somehow).
The only difference is this:
-------------------------
NEW FORM
=======
3.6 Have you been convicted of any criminal offence in the UK or any other country?
Yes - go to question 3.7 No - go to question 3.8
3.8 Do you have any civil judgments against you or any civil penalty under the UK
Immigration Acts? Yes - go to 3.9 No - go to 3.10
OLD FORM
=======
3.6 Do you have any criminal convictions in the UK or any other country (including traffic offences) or any civil judgements made against you?
------------------------
That is, in the new form they have divided the question in two parts. Plus new form talks about civil penalty as well as civil judgement, where as old form talks about civil judgement only.
Would it affect my application? Any past experience with this? I remember the lady at NCS asking me a range of questions related to convictions an all that my answer was "no" all the time as I have got 100% clean record. No traffic offense, no civil judgement, no spot fines, no brawls, no stop and search, etc.
Please let me know what should be my next step? Send the new form? Or what?
Thanks!
