SON OF BRITISH PASSPORT HOLDERS - AM I ELIGIBLE?

Post by sadstory2012 » Tue Jan 22, 2013 12:03 am

HI,
Sorry if this question asked and answered recently. My married parents (aged 56 both) from India obtained EEA permit (my brother married European and they sponsored my parents), now my parents due to obtain their British passport after staying in UK 5 years. I'm 30 years old and I'm in India at the moment. Am I eligible for British passport through my parents or any other residency permit? appreciate instructions please.

No.

If you are not born to parents who are British at your birth, then as adult the only way to obtain British citizenship is by your merits following residence of several years in the UK.
