FREE CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION SUPPORT SERVICE FOR IMMIGRANTS

CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION SUPPORT SERVICE is a new, free, high quality, confidential citizenship service to support immigrants who are applying for Irish citizenship.

The Citizenship Application Support Service is a project of the New Communities Partnership and is aimed at applicants intending to apply for naturalisation as Irish Citizens. The Service will ensure that applications for Irish citizenship are correctly completed in line with the Irish Naturalisation & Immigration Service (INIS) and the Department of Justice and Law Reform guidelines.

The Service will operate a series of nationwide help desks and phone lines around the country. The service will be manned by community liaison volunteers from 55 different ethnic minority groups, speaking 25 languages.
