child benefit - non british citizen...

Post by wiggsy » Fri Jan 25, 2013 2:24 am

hey guys.,

so, from my other post im sure most are aware of my wifes status...

we are claiming child benefit in my name as the claimant at the moment...

however, my wife is allowed to claim child benefit in her name... despite no recourse as i am british...

I am just wondering...

is it worth doing this?

will they still pay her "stamp" (NI contribs) for state pension, like a british woman would recieve...

we intend to get her stay normalised etc, so would need to full amount of ni contribs for pension etc which considering being 32 now is getting on...

if i transfer my cb claim to my wife, will it contrib to state pension for when she is a british citizen etc?
