Revoking Dependent Visa

Post by Natasha_G » Fri Jan 25, 2013 6:08 pm

Hi All,

Appreciate if any of you could please let me know the process to revoke a dependent visa.

Me and my husband are divorced and he no longer lives in UK and returned back now. His dependent visa is valid till July 2014.

Please let me know what has to be done to cancel the visa.

Thanks,
N

Unfortunately you have no right to revoke or cancel the dependent leave given to your ex-husband, all you can do is write a letter with relevant documents to UKBA informing of the divorce and that you wish to withdraw your sponsorship to his dependent visa

its upto UKBA to revoke (or not) the leave to remain of your ex-husband & they will not disclose what decision they have taken

You need to let the UKBA know about change of circumstances.

Many thanks Manka for your inputs. I will write to UKBA and let them know about my situation.
